Hi There!
My name is Ivette Lopez, and I am an artist. I focus on abstract art because I love to be able to express myself freely. I feel as though abstract art is what allows me to get out of my comfort zone. I am of Cuban descent and grew up in Miami, FL. Since I was young, I painted and had a very creative side, but as I got older, I put painting aside and went into fashion. I made the choice to put art on the back end and focus on providing for my family. I always knew art was my passion and what I was meant to do. Excuses always came along and I never fully focused on it until the pandemic started. I decided to paint since I had the time, but as the days went on, I continued to paint more and more. I then realized how much I missed it. In June of 2020, I decided this is what I was meant to do. I was ready to pursue my dream. So here I am now waiting to see where this journey takes me.
